The New Courtesy Pass
The “Courtesy
Pass” is a way for us to acknowledge and apologize for a disruption to a
customer’s trip, and provide a means for them to continue their trip via
another subway line or bus route. It is
representative of our renewed efforts to meet the needs of our customers, and
reinforce our commitment to do our best every day to improve their experience
using our system.
A Courtesy Pass may be issued to a customer
whose trip has been interrupted due to an elevator that is unavailable for any
reason, e.g. service disruption, maintenance, repair, inaccessible due to
construction, etc.
If a customer requires two (2) Courtesy Passes
due to multiple reroutes to continue their trip, Station Agents are authorized
to issue a second Courtesy Pass in these circumstances.
Courtesy Passes are valid for the date punched and two
(2) additional calendar days.
