Sign Up for Train Service Alerts
Despite our
best efforts to maintain scheduled subway service, delays and service changes
occur for a variety of reasons, including customers holding doors/interference,
sick customers, track rehabilitation work, mechanical malfunctions, and police
or other emergency service activity.
We encourage you to use the MTA
Email & Text Message Alerts (eAlert®) at https://www.mymtaalerts.com/LoginC.aspx
to check the status of the routes
you use before the start of your trip. You will need to create an account
with personal password; personalize your experience by selecting the specific
train and bus routes you want to receive alerts about, as well as, the time of
day you wish to receive the notifications; and to which device or e-mail
address(s) the alerts should be delivered.
